The camera tripod has a central pillar (3) with the camera support mounted on top, passing through a collar to which are attached to tops of the three legs. A sleeve (9) which slides on the pillar lower down, is attached to three stays (6) which are connected to sleeves around the legs lower down. These stays slope downwards. Each stay is forked at the top end, with a round peg (10) protruding from each side to fit into a recess (15) each side of the sleeve. The gap between the two arms (11) of the fork is rounded, e.g. can form a parabola, and has a slot (12) at the bottom edge. The stay may be flat. |
