PURPOSE:To obtain a small and good lighting device by providing stepwise reflecting faces to an optical element which permits building-in of a lighting source. CONSTITUTION:Light source light of a lamp 10 or the like inserted into an optical element 6 reflects on the reflecting faces 61 thru 66 provided stepwise in the convex arc form portion of the element 6 to become uniform light which then illuminates required parts. On the other hand, the required parts may be strongly illuminated by the illuminating light emitting directly from the lamp 10 in the direction immediate thereunder. Thereby, the small and good lighting device for illuminating the finder or the like of a camera may be provided. The similar results may also be obtained even if the light source light is reflected by the concave faces formed by the arc face without providing the stepwise reflecting faces to the arc face. |
