<p>The liquid gas container e.g. on a marine tanker, employs a discharge system with an immersion pump inside the bottom of the tank and a further pump in the discharge line, and by means of a branch line, any gas given off is passed through a heat pump arrangement so that the heat generated is removed, and returned to the tank. This gas is passed through a cylindrical heat exchange vessel connected to an external circuit which includes an evaporator coil. This coil may be incorporated in the base of the vessel when this is a vertical vessel.</p> |
