The inlet housing guides the air to the suction pipe of the combustion engine and has a cylindrical section which is connected to the suction pipe. The cylindrical section is at right angles to the disc of the air volume meter. The inlet housing meter is made from an elastomer and has a rigid metal outer frame which is vulcanised to the edge of the elastomer housing. The frame is pref. made of aluminium, and the free end of the housing pref. has an outer groove to receive a clamping clip, and an inner circumferential sealing lip. |
