PURPOSE:To display calendar from the corresponding figures of the date display part of 1 to 31, reduce the number of wirings, increase the size of characters and enhance yield by selectively displaying the characters, marks, etc. of the Sunday display parts provided at least at 7 positions. CONSTITUTION:An hour-minute display part 2 and a year-month display part 3 are displayed in 7-segment type on a display surface 1. A Sunday display part 4 is displayed by characters, marks, etc. and a figure display part 5 is displayed by the formats of figures of 1 to 31. This watch selectively displays the characters, marks, etc. of the Sunday display part 4 thereby indicating that the figures thereunder correspond to the Sundays of that month. This reduces the number of lead wires by about 1/10 as compared to conventional segment system, enables characters to be displayed larger, permits taking sufficient space for wirings and improves yield as well. |
