PURPOSE:To obtain a recording method superior in discharge stability, discharge response, and continuous recording properties by incorporating at least a specific compound in a recording liquid. CONSTITUTION:By incorporating a compound shown by a formula [where R1, R2 are 1-4C lower alkyl groups] in a recording liquid 7, the content of the compound shown by the formula (A) is varied according to the sort of the liquid medium for use, the range of the value of object physical properties, and the like, but it is generally 5% or more, preferably in the range of 5-90%, to the total weight of the recording liquid 7. A pulse signal converted from a recording signal S by a signal processing means 10 is applied to a piezoelectric oscillator 2a, whereby according to the signal a pressure change occurs in the recording liquid 7 contained in a liquid chamber 4. As a result, the recording liquid 7 is discharged from a discharge orifice 5 as a liquid drip 11 to conduct recording on the surface of a material to be recorded 12. |
