<p>The automatic operation of tape recorder in motor vehicle is controlled from programmed instructions or from manual preselector. Operation is slaved to variations of one or more external parameters such as distance travelled. Signals from vehicle distance counter are converted by a detector into electrical signals for binary counting circuit. Programmed read and record instructions are sensed by read head and stored for operation on other instructions in memories, as required by a selector. The counter and memory contents are compared to provide signal to operate switch to read recording.</p> |
