Natural gut-plastic racquet strings - with improved stability and elasticity

Strings for tennis, badminton and squash racquets are made of natural gut and plastic material, e.g. polyamide. The strings may comprise gut lamaltae and plastic material lamellae or plastic material sheaths or natural fibre (e.g. silk) sheaths. The strings have the good elasticity of natural gut strings combined with improved stability. The hardening phase of the strings at the start of play and the loss of elasticity at the end of play is obviated.
