<p>PURPOSE:To prevent application of overload by providing a limit stopper for each of cam followers so that the maximum quantity of relative turn displacement between a steering wheel side transmission system and a steering wheel gear transmission system becomes larger than that between the cam follower and a steering wheel transmission system. CONSTITUTION:The stopper pin 15 for the third disk 9 and a secondary disk not illustrated is inserted through the slot 14 on a primary disk 4 so that a gap alpha restricts the quantity of displacement of a spring 10. A holding ring 50 is put around the third disk 9, each of cam followers 59 is placed in the through holes 53a and 54a and a gap beta therebetween restricts the quantity of displacement of a spring 56. At this time an angle beta of the gap between the cam follower 59 in the neutral position and the through hole 53a with respect to the center of the third disk 9 is set less than that alpha of the similar gap between the stopper pin 15 and the slot 14. In such constitution the displacement of the primary and the secondary spring 10 and 56 is restricted to prevent overload.</p> |
