<p>The binder is used for holding papers in a file and comprises a rigid file back(3) with each side (1, 2) hinged(4, 5) to it. The binder backplate(101) is fixed(6, 7) to this file back and is a thin flat metal plate, one side being formed(105) to hold a hinged support (102) for pins(103). These pins are permanently fixed to the support, perforated papers being placed over them when in the open position. When closed, the free ends of the pins engage holes in a spring clip (106) forming the opposite side of the fixed backplate.</p> |
