PURPOSE:To obtain a thickness slip vibrator which is very small-size and has a high Q value and a low R1 value and can maintain sufficient strength and precision against the impulse at a carrying time in respect to mechanism and characteristic, by making it possible to support a vibrator piece in the almost free vibration state. CONSTITUTION:Insulation-property substrate 10 where upper cover sealing metallized layer 11 is formed at the circumference edge part is provided, and piezo- electric thickness slip vibrator piece 13 consisting of an AT plate crystal piece, etc., is supported on the upper face of substrate 10 through support materials 12. Support materials 12 are provided at both edge parts of substrate 10 respectively. In respect to support materials 12, a thin plate is folded into a U-shape, and conical protrusions 15 are provided oppositely in rise parts 14 in one body or separately. Then, a concave is provided at side face thickness middle point 17 of the node point part of bevel part 16 of vibrator piece 13, and support materials 12 support this point. Electrode 18 for exciting the vibrator piece is connected to lead terminal 20 through lead wire 19. |
