The convective heat exchanger is used for room heating purposes. The air to be heated is blown through channels whose walls are heated. High heat transfer efficiency is ensured. Each channel has a convergent and divergent nozzle type contraction. This contraction can also resemble that of a venturi tube. Each such channel is enclosed within a tube. The space between the channel and outside tube is filled with heating fluid. The channels can also have internal guide fins.
