Suspensions of 1-olefin copolymers in a dispersing agent, e.g. a (cyclo)aliphatic hydrocarbon are mixed with an alcohol, repeatedly extracted with water with sepn. of the dispersing agent, and the remaining aq. suspension distilled with steam under 0.1-0.85 bar pressure. The reduced pressure and temp. of distn. prevents caking of the polymer grains and formation of deposits. |
