PURPOSE:To improve reproducibility of changing over and reduce the effect of chattering by moving a mirror along the plane inclusive the reflecting plane when it is in the specified position in the path of light. CONSTITUTION:Paths of all the light are within the YZ plane where lenses 4 thru 6 and fibers 1 thru 3 are set in optimum positions. The Y-axis is so set that with the point where the exit light from the fiber 1 is reflected by the mirror 7 as a reference it bisets the angle theta assumed by the parallel light 9 and reflected light 9 of that time, and the exit light from the fiber is converted to the parallel light 8 by the lens 4. The mirror 7 is inserted or removed along the XZ plane 10. The parallel light 8 is reflected by the inserted mirror 7, is focused by the lens 5 and is entered to the fiber 2. When the mirror 7 is removed, the parallel light 8 is focused by the lens 6 and is entered to the fiber 3. Thereby, the effect of chattering may be reduced. |
