Self supporting spring washer stack - comprises tapered spring washers with alternate internal and external axial location steps

Two tapered spring washers (1, 2) are provided with axial steps (3) which provide coaxial location when the washers are stacked. Alternating washers in a stack have internal and external location steps so that the straight internal or external edges of neighbouring washers are being radially located by it. The axial location steps are produced by form presing and their axial height is about half the thickness of the washer material (d). Spring washer stacks of this type do not required further supporting elements.
