The rolling-contact-bearing cage is composed, on the one hand, of separable portions (2), which comprise in each case at least one rolling element (4), and of connecting pieces (5) by means of which portions (2) following one after the other are connected. In this arrangement, the connecting pieces (5) may also be used to hold together the parts (3) of the portions (2), provision being made for the portions and connecting pieces to engage in one another, in particular, in the manner of a bayonet closure. It is thus possible to construct straight and curved cages, which are of variable length and are suitable both for rollers and balls. <IMAGE>
