PURPOSE:To stop power transmission, by beforehand mounting an earthing ring to a distribution line, and by earthing the line to the ground by the falling of the ring with the distribution line while operating an earthing protective device of a distribution system when the line is disconnected. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of projection portions 11 on an inner surface of an earting ring 10 are contacted with a protective tape 8 for covering a distribution line 5, and the earthing ring 10 is fixed to the portions. The protective tape 8 protects an insulator 7 when normal, at which there happen no disconnection accident. Meanwhile, when the distribution line 5 is disconnected and falls, the projection portions 11 of the earthing ring 10 break through the protective tape 8 and the insulator 7 by the impact of falling and are connected to a conductor 6, and current flows through the ground through the earthing ring. |
