<p>PURPOSE:To fix Cl2, HCl, SOx, HF etc. contained in city refuse incinerator waste gas and to utilize waste concrete fragment, by the chemical reaction of the exhaust gas with the waste concrete fragment of specific particle size packed in a reaction tower. CONSTITUTION:City refuse incinerator 1 exhaust gas contg. CO2, O2, N2 as principal components and small quantities of harmful gases described above is introduced to a reaction tower 2 at the base, where it is made to contact with packing 4 in order to fix and remove HCl, SOx. The treated gas is then fed to an electric precipitator 5 to collect dust, and is released 7 through a blower 6 to the air. For the packing in the tower 2 are used fragments, which range in particle size 5-100mm, of waste concrete of construction work base or buildings. Spraying 3 alkaline liq. into the tower 2 increases removal ratio for acidic gas. For the alkaline liq. is used a soln. of Ca(OH)2 obtained by the extraction of fine powder of concrete with water.</p> |
