The automatic current limiting cut-out switch has a double contact breaking system. The movable bridging contact is coupled to the switching lock via the contact print. The switching contact bridge forms an electrodynamic sliding contact with the support of the fixed contact. An electromagnetic armature is used to actuate the bridging contact independently of the switch locking device. The switching bridge contact (1) is linked to a toggle lever. The toggle lever rod consists of two sections (5) interlinked by the contact power spring (9) and is also fitted with a strap (4). This is used to carry the toggle lever beyond the dead centre.
