The internal peeling head has a number of radially adjustable cutters. Vibrations of the cutter are damped out by the damping properties of plastics material in stripping head. The head has an adjusting wedge (6) made of plastics. All cutters are adjusted by the conical plastics wedge ring which rests on a cylindrical internal support. The cutter holders rest against the external conical surface.
