The offset printing cylinder (L) is moistened by at least one roller (4'4") which is in direct contact with a scratcher roller (3). A take-up roller (1) is partially submerged in the moisturising liq. A dosing roller (5) makes contact only with the take-up roller. A transfer roller (2) makes contact with both the take-up roller and the scratcher roller.
