<p>The spindle (1) locking system consists of a ring (4) of hard material which is compressed by a spigot (52) of the same shape fitting inside the member (2) to be locked onto the spindle. The spigot projects from a block (5) with flanges (51) with clearance holes for bolts (6) which screw into holes (7) tapped in the second member (2). Ina second design, the spigot fits completely inside the blind hole in the second member and has no flanges. The bolts pass through the spigot and into tapped holes between the blind hole and the hole through which the spindle passes.</p> |
