The storage assembly is made in moulded plastics material. It comprises two support bars (3) of angle section which, together with cross pieces (2), form a fixed frame. The cross pieces are of I section and form carrying handles and can also be used for stacking of the frames. Spaced partitions (15) along bars (3) serve to locate bars (4) extending across the frame. Bars (4) have cut-outs which form clips to locate and retain articles (P) to be stored and transported.
