PURPOSE:To prepare a polyester molding composition which can be molded into a stable article in high speed, and useful for the production of small-sized, thin-walled articles, by hot compounding of polybutylene terephthalate pellets with an aliphatic carboxylic acid metal salt and inorganic solid powders. CONSTITUTION:A composition composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of polybutylene terephthalate pellets, (B) 0.01-5.0 parts by weight of an aliphatic carboxylic acid metal salt having a melting point of 60-200 deg.C, and (C) 0.01-5.0 parts by weight of inorganic powder, is kneaded at a temperature below the melting point of said metal salt. The resin pellet may be square plate, cylindrical form, spherical form, etc., and preferably has an average diameter of 1-10 mm. The aliphatic carboxylic acid metal salt is, e.g. sodium stearate, calcium plamitate, etc., and the inorganic powder is e.g. clay, mica, etc. |
