<p>One-way i.e. non-reusable, printing- or marking-ink container, for an inking device, has a mounting ring at the inner surface of a sidewall spaced away from that end opposite its endwall in such a way that there is a space between the ring and that end. An ink take-up installation receives ink from an ink supply stored between mounting, sidewall and bottom when pressure is exerted. The ink take-up incorporates a piece of polyurethane foam between sidewall and bottom, and a piece of felt between mounting ring and the piece of polyurethane foam. Construction of the claimed container minimises risk of leakage of, and soiling by, marking ink.</p> |
