The clamp roller free movement coupling comprises an outer ring with an inner cylindrical clamping surface an inner star with recesses with wedge-shaped counter clamping surfaces in which clamp rollers are fitted. The rollers are sprung towards the coupling direction by spring units in the inner star recesses. The spring units (1) comprise a folding spring (3) and a retaining stirrup (2) connected to each other the stirrup (2) being fixed in the recesses (6) or on the face sides of the inner star (5) by means of pin fixtures (21). These fixtures (21) have a spring engagement with the inner star (5).
