PURPOSE:To make it possible to accumulate energy in a high temperature exhaust gas discharged from a converter in conversion of sensible heat energy to chemical one by converting CO2 in the gas to CO and H2 through a reaction with hydrocarbonic gas added. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas generated in oxygen steel-making in a converter, partially burned, is as high in temperature as about 1600 deg.C while containing CO2 as well as CO. A hydrocarbonic gas such as LNG is blown into a gas 7, exhausted from a converter 1, through an inlet port 6. The CO2 contained in the gas 7 and the hydrocarbonic gas thus blown are mixed with each other and brought into reaction at an high temperature of the gas 7 to convert to CO and H2. In this process, the result from the operation of a blow flow function operator 15 handling a value in a analysis of a gas sampled through a sampler 12 by an analyzer 13, the amount of LNG blown, a signal 16 for the amount of the exhaust gas flow rate and so on is fed to an adjuster 14 to make a comparation with a signal from a flow meter 10 and a generator 11. Consequently, the amount of LNG is properly adjusted with a valve 9. With such as arrangement, the sensible heat energy of the exhaust gas is converted to a chemical composition energy, enabling the accumulation of energy. |
