PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily reproduce a drum in the field by biasing a photosensitive tube, which has its surface formed with a photoconductive film, with the use of a spring thereby to push and support the body and cover from the inside. CONSTITUTION:A drum 11 is xomposed of a body 12 and a cover 13, which have such a shape as includes two halves divided along a plane parallel with the axis of the cylinder of the same diameter as the internal diameter of a photosensitive tube 1. The body 12 and the cover 13 of the drum 11 are hingedly connected by means of a hinge 14. The drum 11 is formed at the opposite end to the hinge 14 with combtooth projections 15 and 16 which mesh one another. A spring 17 is mounted between the body 12 and the cover 13. These body and cover 12 and 13 are forced to rotated in the closing direction of arrow against the biasing force of the spring 17, and the photosensitive tube 1 is fitted on the outer circumference thereof. When this force is released, the body 12 and the cover 13 are urged to rotate in the opening direction by the spring 17 so that they push and support the tube 1 from the inside 1, thus constituting the drum. Thus, it is sufficient to replace only the tube and to reproduce the drum easily in the field. |
