<p>PURPOSE:To compose an electronic watch having high reliability automatic correction with a minimum of malfunctions, by successively comparing correction signals sent from outside, and obtaining accurate time signals by confirming the determined time difference. CONSTITUTION:Correction signals including time signals sent into terminal E are composed to repeat input into shift registers 1, 2 alternately. While in operation thereof, in a detecting part 3, the corresponding time signal register, out of the shift registers 1, 2, is always compared, and when the difference is 1 second, it is detected which register has been larger. When the time signal entering the shift register 1 is larger, gate switches S11 to S1n are opened, so that a new time is sent into FF1 to FFn. when the singal at the shift register 2 side is larger, gate switches S21 to S2n are opened, so that a time signal is sent into FF1 to FFn. Thus, the time correction is over. Hence, high precision time correction function may be obtained.</p> |
