<p>A water reservoir includes a capillary wick disposed within a flexible and impermeable sheath. One end of the assembly is immersed in the reservoir so that the corresponding end of the wick is in contact with the water, preferably near the bottom of the reservoir. The other end of the assembly passes out through a slot in the cover a sufficient distance to allow that end of the wick to be put in contact with soil in the flower pot.</p> |
