Polyamide moulding compsn. consists of 60-99 (wt.)% polyamide (I), 1-40% graft copolymer (II) and opt. 0-20% polyethylene (III). (II) is based o( 70-99% polyethylene and/or ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer with max. 50% vinyl ester units and 1-30% graft units, comprising 0-100 (meth) acrylic acid, 0-100% 1-8 (2-4)C-alkyl (meth) acrylate, 0-30% acrylamide and/or 0-30% maleic anhydride. (II) is prepd. by graft polymerisation in the melt, which is contacted with (gas contg.) O2 for max. 10 min at 1-150 bar and 80-300 degrees C immediately before adding the monomer(s) to be grafted and is freed from residual monomer(s) after polymerisation.
