<p>A ball track, made from metal, wood or plastic, includes a point switch (1) which can be connected with other elements of the ball track. The cross section of the ball track forms a vee-groove and is not parallel with the base, so that the balls are moved by gravity, towards the lowest point on the track assembly. The switch point has two diverging ball tracks, formed by two curved sections. A selector lever (2), located between two diverging tracks, pivots about a vertical mounting shaft. Its free end, above the track level, deflects the ball into either one of the two tracks.</p> |
