<p>An electrofilter for the purificn. of dust laden gases, esp. flue gases, is fitted at the inlet end with a drum screen, filled with pellets or oher granular material. The gases have to pass through them and the drum can be revolved periodically. This achieves an agglomeration and partial sepn. of fine particles so that the load on the electrofilter itself is eased and its efficiency improved.</p> |
