Servo damped support for vehicle seat - is operated by seat load sensor and has automatic damping system

The car seat (12) is fitted to a frame (13) which is supported on the chassis by height adjusting servos and by damping systems. The seat and its supporting frame are fitted with loading sensors to adjust the damping with respect to the loading on the seat. The system separates the damping and height control functions so that independent regulation is obtained for each function. The system enables different sizes of driver to sit in comfort.
