The shading arrangement is for a greenhouse with a foldable shading panel which can be folded and suspended on rollers. The rear end of the shading panel is fixed. The rollers are supported so that they can move on a rail which can be moved in the closing direction. The front end of the panel is firmly connected with the running rail. Both rails are firmly connected with a toothed rod or are part of this. The toothed rod can be moved by means of a fixed pinion. The rail has a C- or U-shaped form with bent shank ends. The shading track is fixed to support elements which project beyond the slot between the shank ends (35, 36) downwards.
