To avoid any wearing by friction, the stabilising element for the flexible, rotating storage disk is made with a surface which has no roughnesses. At the same time it is provided with a plurality of depressions, which prevent the storage disk from coming into contact in the state of rest with this entire surface facing it and prevent the development of adhesive forces, which can seriously disturb starting up. The depressions, which can be produced by any desired processes and be distributed in any desired way on the surface, contain small amounts of air, which accelerate the formation of a supporting air film between the stabilising element and the storage disk. |
