<p>PURPOSE:To alter easily the characteristic frequency of vibration by providing a frame body secured on an object to be absorbed, a supporting member, erected to the frame body, being capable of vibrated under the vibration of the object, a weight secured on the supporting member, and a tension adjusting means for adjusting the tension of the supporting member. CONSTITUTION:When vibration is applied to an object to be absorbed, a supporting member such as a spring bar 4 vibrates relatively against the object such as a pipeline P by the inertia of a weight 5 so as to restrain the vibration of the object on the principle of dynamic damping. In this case, the tension of the supporting member is altered by a tension adjusting means such as an adjusting nut 6 so that the optional characteristic frequency can be selected at the time of installation and the like at a site. Accordingly, the resonance between the group of objects to be absorbed and the source of vibration such as a pump and the like can be easily avoided.</p> |
