摘要 PURPOSE:To protect a memory for a hot-line insertion and extraction and to connect between a card and terminal equipment by adding difference in length to the terminal coupling part of a card side and a terminal equipment side connector, ensuring an electrical sequence and putting a buffer circuit to all the terminal except the power source input line of the terminal equipment side and a grounding line. CONSTITUTION:When a memory card 21 is extracted form the terminal equipment under a hot-line condition (however, a card enable signal is at a non-operation level), since a grounding terminal 22 is longer than terminals 17a-17n-1 by the length of (l), the terminals 22 and 16n are not detached before detaching from the terminals 16a-16n-1 of a card side connector 16 and the terminal 22 firstly contacts at the time of the insertion. Consequently, even when a chattering wave form to be caused by terminal detachment is generated at the time of detaching and attaching the card 21, the intervals T1 and T2 of a grounding signal maintain an 0V. Thus, the potential drop of the internal power source line of the card 21 is not generated, by memory is surely protected and the influence of a chattering to be caused by the attaching and detaching over the terminal equipment side can be avoided, since a buffer circuit 23 is inserted into input and output terminals 19b-19n-1.
