PURPOSE:To prevent delay of the display time, etc. by providing a control circuit which so controls the output of a conversion circuit that the polarity of driving pulses becomes adequate for letting a rotor revolve. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage across the detection resistance terminal by the first detection pulse is higher than that of the second detection pulse, i.e., when the output of a comparator 35 is 0, the current is flowed by the initial driving pulse in the same direction where the current is flowed in a coil 40 by the first detection pulse, i.e., in the direction of the point mark beta, then the rotor is able to revolve. Conversely, when the voltage across the detection resistance terminal by the first detection pulse is lower than that by the second detection pulse, i.e., when the output of the comparator 35 is 1, the current flows in the same direction where the current is flowed in the coil 40 by the second detection pulse, i.e., in the direction of the arrow alpha, then the rotor revolves. |
