Plant stalk crusher for chip board production - has stalks fed by conveyor crushing rollers and into vacuum particle separation duct

With the ever increasing scarcity of wood for the manufacture of chip-board fibres from the stalks of annual plants such as cotton, maize or vines are instead used. A plant for the extraction of these fibres has a conveyor which delivers the stalks to the crushing rollers. The crushed stalks fall vertically down a duct which is connected to suction ducts in which the degree of vacuum is controlled by valves. A third suction stage is fitted to a further duct installed below the first duct.
