PURPOSE:To provide a measruing apparatus of easy calibration and operation checking by applying reference signal light to the speed measuring apparatus through changing over of reflecting part when necessary. CONSTITUTION:When a reflecting mirror 4 which transmits light except its spot reflecting part 4a is moved, the standard signal light by the standard rotator 2 which is rotated at a constant speed by a motor 13 is applied to a speed measureing appartus which is constituted by a slit 8, a photo detector 9 and a speed measruing device 10 and measures the speed of the measuring object 6 by the particle form patterns of reflected laser light according to the movement of the measuring object 6. This enables the overall calibration including optics and electricity and checking of operations of this speed measuring device by reference light to be readily and surely performed. |
