The micrometer adjuster is used for an indexable tool tip. A clamp presses the tip against a support. Each cutting edge (28) of the indexable tip (4) has a parallel rotating cylinder (17) with a flat face for adjustable displacement of the indexing tip parallel to its support (16). An additional rotation cylinder (20) is provided whose longitudinal axis is at right angles to the first rotating cylinder. This ensures displacement of the tips parallel to the support (16) is a direction normal to the first displacing direction.
