PURPOSE: To obtain a composition comprising a cyclosporin and GLA or DGLA, alleviating the adverse effects, especially the renal adverse effects, accompanied by administration of cyclosporin. CONSTITUTION: This fatty acid composition contains a cyclosporin, its derivative or a compound having cyclosporin-like activity and a n-3 essential fatty acid selected from GLA or DGLA or derivatives convertible thereto in vivo and further as necessary, 20:5, 22:5 and 22:6 acid or derivatives convertible thereto in vivo in a state dissolved in a diluent or carrier for medicines or without using the diluent or the carrier in a ratio of 0.1ng-100mg/ml, preferably 0.1ng-1 mg/ml cyclosporin to 0.1ng-100mg/ml, preferably 0.1ng-10mg/ml fatty acid. In the composition, the daily dose of cyclosporin is 250mg to 1.5g and the daily dose of the fatty acid is 50mg to 10g. |
