Furniture hinge with pivot limiter - preventing door from swinging open to 180 degrees and damaging neighbouring door or handle

The furniture hinge has a limiter (31) which limits the pivoting to an angle less than 180 deg., specially 160-170 deg. This limiter (31) is fitted in the region of the pivot pin (27) in that there is a projecting cam on one hinge part (14) and a recess on the other hinge part (12). The cam engages in the recess and strikes against the side wall of the cam which lies in the direction of pivot movement.
