Swinging suspension between a bottom rest position inside a kitchen unit and a top working position in front of it, is provided by a parallel swivelling fitting comprising a fixed and swinging half, with assembly of two parallel guide levers and a locking spring. The stop lever is shaped and rotatably mounted on the fixture plate, and led relative to the swinging appliance so that the latter can be swung up or down with one hand, on release of the lock. This is compact, leaving clear space underneath, and can be easily operated single-handed.
