Closed circuit cleaning system for food industry containers - uses alternate flow of alkaline and acid followed by flushing with water

Two containers are cleaned by using an alkaline solution and an acid. The alkaline solution in a storage container flows into a pipe line when a valve is opened and is pumped by a pump along a pipe. The liquid is delivered to one food container by opening an appropriate valve. The alkaline solution returns to the storage container and the system is then flushed with water by opening a further valve. After flushing, acid from another storage container is pumped around the system which is then flushed again.
