Automatic control for group gearbox - has electronic logic for optimum gear ratio w.r.t. road speed and engine settings

The vehicle power transmission has two sets of gear ratios which are coupled in set arrays by the electronic control to provide optimum torque w.r.t. road and engine speeds. The system operates a simple logic with low and high threshold settings for each combination of gears. The low and high thresholds correspond to transitions from one group of gears to the next. The system is suitable for utility vehicles with a large range of gear ratios and torque.
