<p>Two connecting elements, of thermically insulating material such as plastics, are fitted between two part profiles esp. of light metal, with guide-rails, in the composite profile unit for windows or doors; they are in contact with the guide-rails, and have similar profiles. These two connecting elements (16, 18) are pressed against each other with a clamping element which is H-profiled (20). The connecting elements may be trapezoid, with two spaced grooves (36, 38) on top (40) for rail (32, 34) engagement, while the bottom has a protrusion for the clamping element.</p> |
