Flexure girder rear coupling torsion moment anchor - has pivot in flexure girder support line with deformations counteracting loading

Torsional moment anchors are used to introduce bar end torsional moments into flexure girders, with automatic utilisation of end torsion angles resulting from loading, for bar sag reduction. The anchor is arranged with intrinsic pivot in the support line of flexure girders, with a pivot bearing in this line. It is connected by intersecting bars with the end cross-section of the girder, and has contact surfaces for introduction of paired forces so that deformations counteracting loading are generated in the girder. Girder sag is largely reduced or eliminated.
