This invention relates to a safe sealing plate 3 for a comparatively small cartridge 1 and intends to resolve a danger of the cartridge exploding or being propelled. To accomplish each object, there is provided a limited external or internal recess 6 in a suitable portion of the sealing plate 3. The plate is welded or calked with respect to the end face of an opening 2 of the cartridge 1, after it has been charged with gas. When the cartridge 1 is externally heated and the inner pressure abnormally rises, a crack appears through the bottom portion of the recess 6 and lets the gas leak out gradually to reduce the inner pressure. <IMAGE> |
